The term "bondholder" traditionally refers to someone who holds a financial bond—a document representing a debt. However, we’re repurposing this term for a more meaningful and heartfelt context. For us, a bondholder is someone who actively binds together communities of suicide loss survivors, working to create a more supportive and secure world.
What Does it Mean to be a Bondholder?
In our context, bondholders are the individuals who stand up to protect others and bring communities together. They are the ones who invest their hearts and souls into making the world a better place, despite their own pain and challenges. These individuals risk their own emotional well-being daily, striving to improve the lives of others and to foster a sense of belonging and support.
Creating Bonds Through Connection
So, how do we forge these powerful bonds? It’s about dedicating time, effort, and energy into building and nurturing our communities. By finding commonalities and sharing our experiences, we strengthen our connections and remind ourselves that we are not alone in our journey. It’s through our collective vulnerability and support that we create a network of care and understanding.
A Thank You to All Bondholders
To all the bondholders out there, we extend our deepest gratitude. Thank you for your selflessness, for your courage, and for your unwavering commitment to making a difference. Your efforts to improve the world, despite the personal battles you face, are deeply appreciated and vital.
